Migrating Data from a QNAP to a RN204

Anyone have ideas on the best way to migrate NAS data from an older QNAP(or any other NAS for that matter )  to a RN204 ? If you can share some experiences that would be great.  My thought was to use Rsync. If both are connected GIG-E, any rough idea of what the throughput would be ? roughly around 5TB of data or some. Thanks!

The hardware in the old NAS would be a factor here too.

I get ~35 MB/s with incremental rsync between my pro-6 and my RN202 (which runs jbod).  That's based on a 7 GB backup that ran last night.

If you get similar speeds, transferring 5 TB data will take about 2 days.  It's fastest overall to let the RN204 resync complete before you transfer data.

As mdgm says, speed depends on both the QNAP and the RN204.
