Move data from 316 to 526

I am using RN316 with 6 HDDs by Raid 6, then now I am thinking to move RN526.

However in this case, Can I move the same HDDs directly to RN526??

Or Do I need to reformat again?

I think I can setup disc array by ssh and `mdadm` command manually, but I am afraid that when I set HDD to new RN526 and power-on,

it would force to format HDDs.

Is there any information about this??

Thank you very much nice nas products.

    Hi whitebear_99

    Welcome to the Community!

Migrating a volume to another OS6 unit such as RN526X is just transferring each disk to the other unit. You will have to migrate every disk in the unit.

Here is a guide for you.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards
