Moving disks from 1 NAS to identical NAS - but different OS's

I had a rndu6320 6 bay which died (power supply dead, but more seems wrong), and I was luckly enough for a friend to have an identical model he wasn't using.  We had 6 disks - 2tb ea.

However, I lost the documentation of what Raidiator version I was running so we aren't sure if his and mine are the same versions,

or different.  I marked the drives so I can insert them in the same slot order but what if the os versions are different?

Will it just not boot up or do I have to worry about losing the data on the drives?  This is a bit critical as we've lost  everything but this server, but luckily, all the critical data we need, is on this Nas.

Thanks for your assistance!

Was either NAS converted to OS-6?  Note there are several steps in that process, it's not something you'd forget you'd done.

If you have any saved log .zip files, the OS version information is in raidiator-version.log for OS 4.2.x or os-version.log for OS6.x.
