Moving disks from ReadyNAS 104 to New ReadyNAS 104 #26210568
I just recieved a factory replacement ReadyNAS 104. I swapped the disks ensuring that I kept the disk #'s correct. However, when I boot the new NAS it doesnt see the disks. I need to 'mount the volum...

Hello ckovel,
When inserting the disks to another chassis that is with the same model you need to insert them all to their respective bays before booting up the NAS. NAS should see the disks and load the volume.
If this does not happen, one possible reason is the chassis and the disks do not have the same firmware version.
You should still be able to get support for this since this is installing the replacement. It is best you contact support center again to walk you through it. Use the previous case, it can be re-opened and escalated if needed.
