It's normal. Same thing here.
NETGRAR always release manual install first and then later release it to their update servers. It's so that they can assess how it goes first before releasing to all users.
I always wait till it's available on the update servers.

Apr 11, 2019Hi heywheelie , another reason could have been, that you had chosen to stick with "Long-term support". There are three upgrade modes: (1) Long-term (2) Stable and (3) Beta, which you can choose on the admin/systems/settings page. Long-term support currently would not upgrade to 6.10.

True, but "stable" isn't prompting for an upgrade to 6.10 yet either.
FWIW, I generally start by installing the new releases on my backup NAS first. I upgraded that to 6.10 a couple of days ago, and haven't seen any issues.
