My RN104 is pulsing display and power but not booting - migration options?
My RN104 has 4 drives 4TB NAS drives but is not not booting and the boot display just pulses on and off every few seconds. The power supply light also dims but I have tried a replacement power suppl...
Scratch that the replacement supply has restarted the device just testing now, seems the switching in the first time might not have been a reliable connection. Fingers crossed it boots correctly.
In the event the new supply doesn't fix your problem, any ReadyNAS running OS6 can accept your volume, though it's best to make sure it's running the same version of OS6. That includes legacy NAS such as the Pro/Ultra 4 and 6 models that have been converted and any of the native OS6 models with at least 4 bays.
