NAS NV+ new hdd install isues
Hi
Posted earlier about problems with a NAS when HDD's and capacity showed on the front panel of the unit, but were unacessable through any software.
We ended up replacing the NAS drive completely, however now, on installing a new single drive, and, running the setup wizard, something similar is happening.
The drive boots up fine, displays an IP, is accessable through RaidAR, config tools work etc..
The drive shows under explorer, the 2 default shares show, but you cannot gain access to them.
There are no passwords set etc.., the error message reads "windows cannot access share".
**Update** - Now getting message Vol C is dead ****
Any ideas, full reboot, second drive, completely stumped!!!!!
