Netgear RN10200 firmware update communication error
I have an rn10200 its on firmware 6.10.5 hotfix 1 and im trying to update to the latest 6.10.6 but all i get is a communications error when i try and do a manual update. if i do an automattic upda...

Weird. I didn't see that when I updated my own RN102 a few weeks back.
- Did you extract the img file from the zip?
- Any sign that the OS partition is full?

No the drive is newly formatted and nothing put on at the moment its completely blank

But if the NAS has no data, maybe try doing a factory default from the system->settings menu - which will reformat the disk(s), and reinstall the OS from the flash. Then see if the update works normally.

Yes I unzipped the file to the img extention before trying to upload to the nasIs the NAS able to reach the internet? There should be an indication on the cloud page of the admin UI to tell you this.
- Yes it is able to reach the Internet.
I can click on update and it will download the update the reboot but it doesn't reboot it shuts down and I have to manually start it up thats why I went and downloaded the file to see what it says when try and use the manual update and I just get communication error
