I'm not seeing your screenshots.
Perhaps look at the share settings (both network access and file access) for the USB drive share, and compare them with the settings you see on the shares you can access.

Stephen, I worked on this Network Credentials problem some more and was able to get access to the an external hard drive that's connected to one of the ReadyNAS's USB ports.
- In the ReadyNAS Admin page, on Network Access for the external drive settings, my username setting is checked (this was the case before)
- In the Windows Network and Sharing Center, on the Advanced Sharing Settings page, "Turn on file and printer sharing" is selected (I think this is what did the trick for me)
- In Windows File Explorer, when prompted for Network Credentials after selecting external drive in ReadyNAS folder list, I used my ReadyNAS user name (happens to be the same as my Windows account name) and the ReadyNAS password (I had tried this combination before without success)
So it seems that the sharing setting in the Windows Network and Sharing Center was the missing key for me.
