New disks for my ReadyNAS NV
I am needing to replace one of my failed Seagate Barracuda 500GB, so thought I would move to some high capacities. Can anyone tell me if this model is compatible with my old NV ? Seagate ST31000...
Forgot how complicated this can all be :-) One of the benefits of ReadyNAS - mine has been running 24x7 for the last few years and has not missed a beat until last week, so I have got out of date on what is happening in this area.
Good call about the 4k. At the moment my plans are slightly changing in that I may simply replace the failed disk in my NV and buy an Ultra 4 with 4 x 2 TB disks.
