Both Qnap and synology have these drives on their HCLs, Netgear do not.
Western Digital planning to release 4tb red and 5 tb red by the end of the year.
These drives are marketed for NAS devices, surely Netgear would prioritise testing to support its customer base.
Yet another reason to look elsewhere for your NAS. I'm really trying to find reasons to stick with Netgear, this forum is fast becoming the only one.
