NIC getting disabled after running for sometime on ReadyNAS 214
NIC on my NAS getting disabled automatically and I cannot re-enable it back.
I had this issue before and raised tickets with Netgear but they did not respond properly and I gave up and now again same issue.

Now I am out of warranty.
:(
Anyway I checked forum and saw its issue with firmware, do we have any fix for this.. I am not able to find any and only message I got is to contact support.. I am currently running 6.10.4 Hotfix 1.
This is running fine for so many days and I did not do any changes to my knowledge recently except for data copy..
Why this error all of sudden, and I cannot do a shutdown as well because of this I think and getting do_exit+4d8 error.
How can I fix this..

Looks like A hotfix was applied to your system (6.10.4 Hotfix 1) got applied and issue started appearing after this..

Is it happening as well on the other NIC? I think the issue was because of the NIC getting hot if I remember it correctly.
Would be best if you can send your logs thru PM so we can check but this should have been resolved.
HTH
Sent you the logs in PM.
Issue is not there with eth1. Its only eth0 and its completely greyed out.
I removed the power cable for NAS, to see if that fixes the issue. Will wait for a day to start again.
I had this issue last year, but did not see it again until yesterday.
Thanks

I reverted firmware to 6.10.1, tried 6.10.3 and 4 but none did not make any difference.. Probably a day of powerdown will help.
Main issue is that I cannot shutdown the NAS.. and it just throws the do_exit+4d8 error.
I already tried unchecking and checking Wake on LAN as mentioned last time.. as well..
