After using an icybox for several years,I had to replace it, so chose Ready Nas duo. Biggest mistake ever,the included bit torrent doesnt show web interface(I did ask about this on here weeks ago but ...
For local access, first I wold try a direct-connect using a known working Cat5e or newer ethernet cable: http://sphardy.com/web/directconnect
Once you've sorted local network issues then I'd move onto dealing with bittorrent. The bit torrent add-on is still available but no longer supported. It's recommended to use Transmission.
