NV+ - Resync or replace disk - which first?
I have two errors within 2 minutes of each other - one recommending changing the disk. On checking I see some read errors on one of the disks (disk 2) Which one should I do - resynch and then chang...

Thank you - have replaced disk 2 (The only one with apparent errors) and the NAS is currently re-syncing.

If all the errors are on disk 2, then I'd pull the disk (NAS running), and then hot-insert the replacement. The system will need to rebuild the parity blocks anyway when you insert the new disk, and there's nothing to gain by letting the resync complete.
If the errors are on multiple disks, then it'd be best to use your backup - doing a factory reset with good disks, rebuilding the NAS, and restoring the data.
