NV+ and Seagate ST2000DM001-1CH164 failure?
I had 3 of my 4-year old ST31500341AS fail over the past months and had to replace the last one with another model as the 315s are no longer available. Note, that the last ST315 failed without warnin...
A follow-up: I have replaced the 1CH version of the drive with a 9YN164 and since have replaced the second of the older drives with the ST20000 9YN). The array is redundant and the system boots.
However, this seems to be the only good news. The system is still very slow and there are a lot of LPCH-ACTIVE still on errors and all drives show a lot SATA resets in SMART data. Not sure what is happening.
Any ideas?
