NV+ drive compatibility list question
Hello,
I've been away from home for several months, and I just noticed that the Caviar Black WD2002FAEX 2TB drive is now on the NV+ drive compatibility list, along with another ton of drives. The compatible drive list is a LOT larger that it was the last time I looked at it... Is this correct, or did my computer mess up and feed me the compatibility list for one of the other NAS systems?
I"m asking for a few reasons... First, I prefer WD caviar black drives and have been waiting for one of them 1TB or above to make the list for a few years. Second, I have 4 1TB seagate 528AS drives in there now and one of them is dying (reallocated sector count jumped from 0 to 22 back in june while I was away and it's up to 52 now plus the filesystem check occasionally finds filesystem errors), and while I"m going to replace that drive with a $55 seagate 524AS, it would be nice to have the option to swap them all out for 2TB WDC caviar blacks in the future.
Thanks in advance for confirmation that these drives have actually been added to the NV+ list...
