NV+ freezes when adding new HDD #21013685
Hi everyone,
I had a failed disk so I removed it and replaced it with another one exactly the same as the one that failed.
I insert the disk and it tells me that it is initializing. That is successful. It then starts a RAID sync on Volume C. This starts off ok but then the whole ReadyNAS just stops! All the disk lights on the front of the NAS go off but the LCD still displays the IP address and how much space is being used. At this point I am also no longer able to connect the the NAS.
The power button was non-responsive so I unplugged the power to the NAS and then re-booted it. With the replaced disk still in it. It all seems to boot up fine, goes through the Quota Check and everything. Once it is all up and running the replaced disk LED is flashing on the NAS box and in FrontView it is flashing amber and says that its "Not redundant. A disk failure will render this volume dead."
What do I do now? Im incredibly nervous about messing around with these too much because I am not all that familiar with the technical side of things. Im also getting important data copied to another location as well just in case.
Any help would be apprciated. Thanks.

What version of RAIDiator are you running?
Wat brand and model disks?
You may wish to open a tech support case (see Online Submission link in my sig) and post your case number. - Hi mdgm,
RAIDiator 4.1.6 [1.00a043]
Disks are Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB. All 4 disks are the same.
