NV+ Power Supply Failure Case#17378314
My power supply for my NV+ has died. My serial falls within the range of serials that have the reported issue with the PSU causing it to fail. I understand that there is a policy to replace these PSUs...

justints - you are absolutely correct that there is a non-standard pin arrangement to the ReadyNAS PSU. In the past there have been some members who have or bought a tool that makes pulling the pins easy, and rearranged the pins to match the stock PSU. However, there is no way you can shove a stand PC PSU case in the bottom of a ReadyNAS. It would be very inconvenient to have that separate box sitting to one side.
Worst case, you can get from time to time a replacement PSU from either Amazon or the Netgear Store. Obviously at the current time since the Netgear Store is out of stock, the other sources are raised their prices. This past January, I purchased mine for a little over $105 from Amazon. Your best bet is obviously to get the unit registered and work with support. You have already help from readysecure1985.
