It's definitely a NV+ v1 (RND4000-100).
The RND4000 v3 presumably indicates a few minor hardware changes since the original RND4000. It's confusing I know. Back when they labelled it RND4000 v3 they probably didn't know they would release a new product the NV+ v2 (RND4000-200)
Perhaps you should try opening a tech support (http://www.readynas.com/support) case.
