What password are you trying? The default for OS 6 is "password".

Original seller of the drive replied with that trivia (password = password). Never dawned on me that someone would change the defaults and not make it more of a visible detail that change was made, but ....

Hi jwstephens1,
If the unit is still running 4.2.x, the password is netgear1. If it's running OS 6.x.x, the password is password. If it still won't work, try clearing your browser cache/settings or completely reset it.
