PC connection through USB 3.0

Hi there...

I have some questions. I need your help.

I need to connect my desk top PC to Negear ReadyNAS server through USB 3.0 cable directly.

So. I want to use Negear ReadyNAS server as external storage.

Also I can connect it to my PC by lan cable. But its data transfer speed by lan cable is not as fast as i want.

Netgear FAQ says that Netgaer ReadyNAS cannot be used as target device.

But, is there any connection manner with USB? or Is there any conection manner with other connector except lan cable.

Thank you.

No.  The only way to connect is over the lan,

What ReadyNAS do you have, and what firmware is it running?

    Is your network gigabit?

What data speeds are you seeing?
