I already have a 516 running VirtualBox hosting 4 VMs but based on Seagate ST4000VN000 disks so setting up VirtualBox should not be a problem. The HCL only lists very old SSDs and no current one but I hope I can assume that a modern SSD like the Crucial MX200 will also run without a problem. Do you have any experience with a SSD in a 516? Are all SATA ports the same or should I prefer specific ports for the SSDs?
The 716x is out because 10GB isn't necessary and the price is insane here in Germany especially compared to the 516 (1000EUR vs. 2800EUR).
