Power Supply replacement compatibility
I do believe the power supply in my Infrant ReadyNAS RNV1-S2-0000 has died. I bought it in October 2006 from Newegg. The power supply died once before and [then] Infrant replaced it. Now it looks like...
You have probably noticed that there is quite a difference between the appearance of your PSU and the new one. That has come about to direct more airflow directly over the components. The metal hood over the components is vented at both ends and it includes a plastic shield to prevent airflow in the bottom from bypassing the components.
