Power Supply replacement compatibility
I do believe the power supply in my Infrant ReadyNAS RNV1-S2-0000 has died. I bought it in October 2006 from Newegg. The power supply died once before and [then] Infrant replaced it. Now it looks like...
ahoffer - is your NV connected to a UPS?
I have an NV+ that is also in the serial number range, and has been running 24/7 for over 4 years now. The last time I completely disassembled the machine for cleaning (including removing the original PSU) I did notice some of the capacitor cans slightly bulged, but restored it to the chassis. It is connected to a UPS and that also serves as a surge protector. I did purchase a spare PSU, but it is still on the shelf for now.
