Power Supply replacement compatibility

I have two 4 year old Back-Ups NS1250 units. But, I am running my DirectTV receiver, DVD Player and TV. I had another unit in that service until it failed. I recently had to replace the batteries in this unit as well. It is primarily to maintain the settings on the devices when they are turned off. If they lose power, then I have to go through the setups again. Although my power is more reliable today, we are still subject to periodic short term outages (rural area).

My second unit has three NAS units plugged into it as well as a mid powered desktop PC and LCD monitor. With the desktop on, the unit indicates that it will last about 25 minutes. The BE450G listed on Newegg for $58 will run your NV+ for about 23 minutes on the battery. Connecting it to the NV+ and setting it to shut down automatically in case of power failure, will allow the unit to shut down normally on it's own in case of a power failure when you are not home. Higher powered units will allow longer runs, but will obviously cost more.
