A question: When the new one comes and I install my current disks, will I lose all the data currently on the drives? I suspect the answer is yes, but if anyone has an idea of how to insert them and be up and running, I'd appreciate hearing it.
Thanks to mdgm for his replies and Kostia for his help.
Did you get the new Pro 2? How are the temps?
I just got mine as well and the temps tend to be around 70 C even in idle.

I've had the new box for almost a week. The temperature hovers between 50C and 55C. Here's the latest stats:
Disk 1 Seagate ST33000650NS 2794 GB , 41 C / 105 F , Write-cache ON OK
Disk 2 Seagate ST33000650NS 2794 GB , 39 C / 102 F , Write-cache ON OK
Fan SYS 827 RPM OK
Temp CPU 54 C / 129 F [Normal 0-80 C / 32-176 F] OK
Temp SYS 29 C / 84 F [Normal 0-65 C / 32-149 F] OK
UPS 1 APC Back-UPS ES 650, Battery charge: 100%, 25 minutes
I appreciate beisser's point about the spec for the atom (I found an Intel site that said it was rated to 90C) but what happens if the CPU temperature exceeds 80C? Does the firmware start sending warnings? Does it shut down the ReadyNAS? Does it do nothing? I don't know, so I called support, who issued the RMA. My CPU temp got as high as 76C, which was too close to 80C for my liking. (BTW, I recalibrated the fan while writing this post and the CPU temp is now at 50C.)
