PSU for NV still available?
Hi folks. I have an old school Readynas NV that was still working fine until this morning when the PSU failed. Are replacement PSU's still available? It looks like the PSU may be the same one used in ...
I just want to update everyone on my efforts to get a replacement PSU for my old Infrant Readynas NV. I ended up buying an alternative PSU (Enhance) as suggested in this thread - viewtopic.php?f=11&t=13492. It needed some modifications to the power connector but fit inside my Nas case and has been working fine for 2 weeks now. Then, just within the last week I received an email from Netgear saying they are sending me an RMA replacement PSU free of charge (see Siigna's earlier post offering to help out). I received the replacmeent PSU yesterday, installed it, and it works fine. I'll keep the Enhance PSU as a backup just in case.
I just want to achknowledge and thank Netgear for their awesome support and service. My unit was well beyond out of warranty and I had no hope of getting a replacement from Netgear even to purchase it. Also many thanks to everyone else for providing suggestions and help in this thread. I love my Readynas NV and it's great to keep it running for several more years!
