Put disks from ReadyNAS NV+ into 314 chassis? #23588643
I have an NV+ with 4 disks whose chassis appears to be fried. I am looking at the ReadyNAS 314 diskless and would plan to simply install the disks there and start it up. Will that work? Thanks!

This sounds good. The key question undelying all this is that since the data in the failed unit was a couple of days more up to date than the last backup I took, I will be able to restore it to the current point (i.e., not only as of a few days ago)? I can back up from the current then restore it after reinitializing the disks?
If so I'll order the new unit and then contact support to open the case.
Thanks!
