Put disks from ReadyNAS NV+ into 314 chassis? #23588643
I have an NV+ with 4 disks whose chassis appears to be fried. I am looking at the ReadyNAS 314 diskless and would plan to simply install the disks there and start it up. Will that work? Thanks!
Yes, you could backup what's on the disks, provided the array is fine. Then wipe the disks and restore from backup.
Open the support case for the 314 and be sure to keep proof of purchase (of the 314) so you can provide that to support if requested.
