RAID Controller for 4200

Is ist possible to buy a new RAID Controller as a Replacement-Unit for
the 4200?
If currently own a 4200, but the Raid-controller is only possible to address
Disks up to 2TB.
There seems to be a new Version of the 4200 availiable that supports bigger Disks:

Netgear ReadyNAS 4200 RN12T1230 36000GB

Can I just upgrade my old one with the new Controller?

thx

the controller is on the mainboard and not replaceable..

you would need to replace the whole mainboard which is not available as single part.
  • They should make the main board available as an upgrade option for both the 3200 and the 4200. We spent a lot of money on these units and now we can't use anything above 2TB for bays 4 to 12.
