Backups not working ReadyNAS 314 6.9.5 to ReadyNAS 2120
I have a RN314 as the main NAS and I am trying to back it up to a ReadyNAS2120 using RSync.

Your error is: Backup Status: Fail: Connection cannot be established. Check the connection and authentication, if required.
This is a username and or password issue error, check your username and password, has this been changed?
Have you done the basic stuff?
Can you access the unit via web browser? if not, reboot unit. (I'm seeing a lot of connection failure even though the unit is on, but connectivity to it is not happening, so I have to hard reboot the unit).
ping test to unit? is this ok, it should be after reboot, if not look into the network setup, switch, cable, etc. if it's ok, run the test connection via web browser?
Check the credentials and make sure they are good?
then as others have stated run the test connection using the path (192.168.xxx.xxx) once you connect to unit then find the share?
if you still cannot access the share, look at the System, Share and see if you can access that share via the admin page via a web browser. If not then your share is faulty, check the protocols and make sure they have been selected.
If all else fails, reset the backup with the credentials.

As I tried to point out, the path name is incorrect - it shouldn't include data/ (the data volume name) in the path. The error message @Error Unknown module 'data' indicates that is the problem.
That should be corrected before trying the other steps.
Thanks for all of the help, this has been resolved, the underlying issue was a duplicate IP address!
