Firmware 6.7.1 Broken my 1 Network Interface and lots of other problems
I have updated my firmware and got following problems 1- It has broken 1 of my network interface. 2- I am unable to see any available apps. 3- I was unable to turn off ready cloud 4- Clicking on ...

1) How do I point it myself to the correct drive should this happen again ?
1. Create new .apps and home subvolume in new volume, (For example, MyData is new volume)
a. Access NAS via SSH, then run below two commands,
btrfs subvol create /MyData/.apps
btrfs subvol create /MyData/Home
2. /lib/systemd/system/apps.mount and /lib/systemd/system/home.mount were pointing to the NEW volume using vimtiny command, (For example, MyData is new volume in below config)
root@NAS:/# cd /lib/systemd/system
root@NAS:/lib/systemd/system# cat apps.mount
[Unit]
Description=Apps Directory
After=local-fs.target
Before=multi-user.target[Mount]
What=/MyData/.apps
Where=/apps
Type=none
Options=bind[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
root@NAS:/lib/systemd/system# cat home.mount
[Unit]
Description=Home Directory
After=local-fs.target
Before=multi-user.target[Mount]
What=/MyData/home
Where=/home
Type=none
Options=bind[Install]

root@NAS:/lib/systemd/system#3. Run OS Reinstall,
2) Should I not use my previous saved config file ? (last time I used this file and it has braked everything again)
You can't restore old config file because mount path is changed, if use old config, it will point to old volume in config file.

Both the installed apps and available apps depend on the apps mount.

Mdgm mean is
there are all avaliable apps on a volume, but the volume is on your a removed disk,
so all available app disappeare,
for example, my system (default setting), all availabe apps (in /apps/.freeapp) is on data volume (md127)
if data volume removed, all availabe app will disappear,
Please run os-reinstall, all available apps (.freeapp folder) will come back, it will put on the first volume in your NAS.

Thanks for the explanation Evan otherwise what mdgm has written was shoot out above from my head (couldn't able to understand)
Re installing of the OS is the first thing I have done even before posting it here but that did make any difference
I can do that again if you think it will/can fix or atleast worth trying.

Please try os-reinstall again and check if all available apps come back,
Note: I tried to delete .freeapp folder in backend yesterday, all available will disappear in admin GUI, then run os-reinstall, they come back.
if don't come back, please let me know, I will check with developer how to do?

I can able to access my NAS using readycloud account over internet.
So I guess I do have internet in my NAS

I reproduced you app not available issue, setp as below,
1. Boot system with a volume ( the volume is on disk1)
2. Change to flex-raid,
3. Insert the second disk, destory old volume on it, the create volume2 on disk2,
4. Remove disk 1, available app will disappear, it can't come back if do os-reinstall because there is not .apps subvol in new volume and mount path is still using old volume.
Please follow setps to fix it,
1. Enable SSH in admin GUI (SSH is in System/Settings screen)
2. Access NAS via SSH (User is root, password is same as login admin GUI)
3. Check volume name you want to put available app using mount command,
please see below my volume's name is data
root@nas-43-8D-A6:# mount
/dev/md127 on /data type btrfs (rw,noatime,nodiratime,nospace_cache,subvolid=5,subvol=/)
4. Create .apps and home in in your volume
Note: my example volume is data, you can change to your volume's name
root@nas-43-8D-A6:/# btrfs subvol create /data/.apps
Create subvolume '/data/.apps'
root@nas-43-8D-A6:/# btrfs subvol create /data/home
Create subvolume '/data/home'5. Open /lib/systemd/system and change path to new volume in apps.mount and home.mount file

Sorry for reply so late,
Is DLNA enabled on your NAS? check it's status in Admin GUI System/Settings/ReadyDLNA,
if DLNA is enable, please disable DLNA firstly in Admin GUI then enable SSH,
because DLNA still use apps subvol, if there is not volume, it affect all services enable.
if it still can't enable SSH after disable DLNA,
Please enable Secure Diagnostic mode in Admin GUI system/Settings/Support, then PM me 5 digitals, let me remote to access.

Hi Evan,
I have PM'ed you about my issue again.
You did a awesome job and it was fixed but as soon as I restore my configuration to restore my access and account settings it revert back to broken :smileysad:
I have tried to follow your command to restore but either the sequence given by you is not correct or command is not comple or for some other reason I was unable to run most of the command and checking the file is not showing .app and home.
Can you please advice if my backup config file is having broken settings?
Please help me once again to fix this Please ...... please..........please..........
also if you can give me exact sequence and command of how to fix this myself.

First, don't be yelling.
It's not a matter of restoring the config. It's a matter of restoring the config AFTER somebody fixed your NAS.
There are steps in this thread already, and you're always welcome to backup your data, Factory Default your NAS and reimport your data.

Sorry! I checked my email every day, but don't see your email in My mail list,
for user account,
they are home user and put in home subvol,
but older volume is deleted, and I created new home subvol in new volume, the path is changeed,
so your access and account settings it revert back to broken,
and you have PM to Mdgm, please let Mdgm help you check the home issue.
