Cant find anything on it ive got down to this now

Was your other NAS also an arm platform? Or was it x86?
Looking at this thread, I am seeing that folks running on Arm could install 1.6.0 armh, but not 1.6.6.
Later on (post 107), Sandshark says 1.8.4 could be installed on armhf. I confirmed that in post 126. I also found that if I first installed openssl, I could install 1.87 on arm (post 128)
But this is not a package I use myself, so I haven't played with it since 2023.
