First confirm that you actually have a v2 - lots of v1 owners think they have a v2 because the labeling is quite confusing. If you are running 5.3.x firmware, you have a v2. 4.1.x firmware means you have a v1. There is also a guide here: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
Model identification is very important in your case, because the v1 is limited to 2 TB max disk size.
The HCL is indeed broken for all models at the moment - I have sent a PM.
Western Digital Red drives are safe choices, as are Seagate Ironman (VN) drives. Both are purposed for NAS. I don't recommend desktop drives, and see no real benefit to enterprise-class drives in a duo v2.

Thanks etherflash and StephenB for letting us know. We are looking into why the Hard Disk Compatibility List is not working. I'll post an update when the issue has been resolved. Thank you for your patience! kohdee, in the meantime can you help this user out in determining which disks would be compatible with his model? Thanks!
