Readynas Pro 6 (Dropped Rx)
Hi guys, It's been a week that I have been running my new PRO 6 and have been noticing dropped Rx packets every day. Here are the stats from my bond nic: TX packets 3615 TX errors 0 TX drop...
I am running Transmission on my PRO and guarantee you that I have never seen dropped rx packets via Frontivew. (Of course, when I use NTOP or PHPLogCon things become more revealing. Truncated packets, etc.) I am not running addons such as a torrent application on the PRO 6. Maybe I should try to install NTOP and PHPLogCON to see if I can come up with more detailed information.
One thing I did forget to mention, the dropped rx counts appear on the PRO 6 when it is running in conjunction with other machines on the network. Could it be that the PRO 6 nic's chipset is more sensitive to data packets pushed across the lan?
