Readynas Ultra 6
I guess I spoke to soon. After using my NAS for a day I shut it down. The next day it would not boot. Just displays ReadyNAS. It may not have shutdown clean. I'm not sure how I got past it before...

I have no idea what the jumpers are for. Netgear has never published that info. I suspect one is for clearing the BIOS, but I don't even know which one. Adding the VGA cable is a good place to start when trying to debug a failure to boot condition. They can be hard to find these days, but I've bought them from pccables.com and they do still carry it (if you are in the USA). Theirs is long enough that you can mount it permanently in the cut-out on the NAS rear panel.
