Readnas 204 Won't update

Hi everyone,

I can't contact support because we only get 90 days of support? Seriously...

Anyway, Readynas 204, won't upgrade from 6.10.1 to 6.10.2. The error is:

"Firmware: Unknown error occurred."

I've tried rebooting the NAS, no difference. Wonderful.

Thanks.

  • I solved the issue. It was my eero wireless network. Once I rebooted the network from the app, the normal write speeds returned.

  • Found out more... The NAS won't write any new files. Reading is fine. Awesome.

    Hi SirNas,

    Welcome to the Community!

Your volume might have become read-only because the NAS detected a file system problem. It will be best for you to backup your data first.

You can download the NAS system logs then send it to me so we can check why it became read-only. You may send it by uploading it to a file-sharing site then send to me the download link via PM (private message)

    Regards,
