ReadyNAS 104 - Can't connect to admin

I'm not a hardware techie and I'm new to the forum, so please be gentle.

I have a ReadyNAS 104 with a single Seagate 4tb drive. Not sure of the exact build but it was updated a month ago. Should be the latest.
I'm unable to get into the admin via the browser. https://IP/admin/
I can still access the folders and files from windows.

I have had problems before, so I don't have a lot of love for it if I'm honest. It lost the admin password and I had to rebuild it (it was empty so no biggie) but I have little confidence in it.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I did search and didn't find what I was looking for.

Thanks in advance.

Remember that when you log in with ssh, the username is root. The default password is the admin password.

    Thanks. Good to know.

However, I tried using Putty, and it's rejecting on 22 and the port number I thought it swapped to (58143, or similar....wrote it down elsewhere). Ran a port scanner a few times, found 80, 139, 443, 445 and 8200...

BTW, Stephen, thanks for the assist. Greatly appreciate you taking time with me on it. I'm going to punt, and reformat it. Fortunately, my SMB access was valid, so I could get a snapshot of everything.

    Cheers,

    ~Dan
