Was the disk connected to the NAS at the time you downloaded the logs and if so to which port?

The disk was not connected when I pulled the logs, but I tried the two USB ports in the back as well as the eSATA so you should see that. I also tried a 500GB drive thinking that the limitation was with the Vantec NexStar (which it turns out is not the problem as I was able to see and format the 4TB drive in the NexStar when it was connected to my computer) so you should see that also.

The logs are not as useful if the USB/eSATA disk is not connected at the time you download the logs. Please connect the USB disk and download the logs whilst it is connected and send those in.

I emailed you four logs that were dumpted while the backup drive was in the two back and one front USB ports as well as in the eSATA port.
