Any chance for a trade in/discount for customer unsatisfied by readynas 104 embarassing performances ? and not US only please...

I'm with giulianoz. The 104 doesn't deliver what it says on the tin.

Looking on skinflint I see they are starting to appear in stock on some sites, 204 is £350-£400 and the 202 is ~£230

Yes, this is around when I expected the 200 series to be available.

400 British pounds for the 204? That's 314 territory!
I hope Netgear convinces Plex to make the transcoding engine to work on ARM CPUs, otherwise I dont much of a selling point.

RN202 has appeared on Amazon UK now: £229.99 but not in stock yet. RN312 is £245

In the US, the RN202 at Amazon is $330, the RN312 is $382. The RN202 is offered at list, the RN312 is discounted and lists at $480.

If Amazon offered the same discounts on the RN202 as it offers for the RN102 and RN312, it would be better positioned.

Just got my RN204, and put 2 6TB WD RED drives in today.
Its currently rebuilding everything, although in the mean time everything is accessible.

Is it normal that during rebuild the performance is really slow? If I transfer a file during rebuild the disks make a lot of clicking.

I think it's normal. how long does it take to rebuild the array ? can you tell how much was the rn204 ?

I'd wait for the rebuilding to complete, and then see if you still have clicking sounds. I am not hearing clicking with my RN202 (which also has two 6 TB drives installed).
