Yes, Pro6, even 2100, can do teaming/bonding on the NICs.
Some software that is closed source, like Symantec Backup Exec Remote Linux Agent (RALUS), is only available on x86. So users on Sparc,ARM cannot use that add-on. Other programs like Plex,Orb in the past have been similar. There is just a larger pool of applications built for x86.
