Imposing for a system to stream. Can I buy one 4g drive now and then add a second 4g drive later for 8g? Not looking for raid, it will only be for movies.

yep that is possible
when first set up disable x-raid2 and then destroy the volume. then create a new volume using jbod. when u insert the 2nd drive create another new volume with jbod.
alternatively u may set up raid 0 which gives u one volume. but that may need to destroy the first disk which carrying data. perhaps u need external backup the data before setting up raid 0

I think its simpler actually. Just install the first disk and switch to flexraid. It should end up jbod (no need to destroy it / recreate it).
