ReadyNAS 214 - Why is new Volume not appearing on my network?
Firmware 6.10.10. Check for updates, no new updates available ReadyNAS 214. I have added a new disk and created a new JBOD volume, but when I connect to the ReadyNAS through my network, I can't see...
Try creating a share on the volume.

No shares on this volume. The only disk with shares on my setup is DISKY2. DISKY3 and DISKY4 don't have any shares at all, and they're running fine.
Yes, using an admin account - the only account I've used for several years, so no change there at all. This is a created account, with admin access, as opposed to the default admin account.

Have logged in with admin, got the same results.
Just now I destroyed the 'old' volume 3B, and have created a new volume, 3A in the unlikely event that for some reason THIS volume needed to be created by the specific admin account. Don't know why I would of course, since I haven't used 'admin' since whenever.
No joy there, either, though, when connecting to the network with 'admin' credentials. As before, have 4 green lights on the console and everything is showing online when hovering over the disk representation on the console.
Currently running a disk test via the admin login, just for the sake of it, but doubt that will do anything at all.
