ReadyNAS 214 stop error

Hi!

I have encountered a really weird error on my machine. During normal operations, the machine suddenly freezes and displays "page_address+4" on the display. All I/O operation is halted, and it does not respond to ping or the admin web.

The only way to get it back online is a hard power cycle (i.e. pulling the plug). The normal power button does not work.

I have googled and found absolutely nothing relating to this.

The machine is running on firmware version 6.10.10.

My best guess is that it might be a memory error. Any other ideas?

It's certainly a crash of some kind.  I suggest downloading the full log zip file, as there might be some clues in there.

There is a diagnostic you can run from RAIDar, that would be a good next step.

You can also run a memory test from the front panel.  See pages 65-67 here:
