ReadyNAS 2304 very slow resyncing and log question
Couldn't find my model in the Model drop down list. It's a ReadyNAS 2304, just received it yesterday. I put in 4 - 4TB Seagate drives in it and it's been resyscing all night. With 4 - 4TB drives how long should a resyncing take with 19mb of data? It's been going for maybe 8 hours now.
Secondly I have all these entries in the log. Is this typical.

The reboot was from firmware upgrade but why all the "ReadyNASOS service or process was restarted." then Resyncing?
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeffery

It's resyncing 12 TB in order to build the RAID array. It doesn't matter that the file system is empty (free space needs to be synced too).
So it will normally take a while.

This is not typical, so something isn't going right.
If you are the original purchaser of this NAS, you are entitled to phone support (via my.netgear.com). I suggest you contact them.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
I've only owned a two drive ReadyNAS so wasn't sure on that, but that does make sense on the sync.
I'll contact Netgear about the log, it did't look right to me but wanted to check.
Thanks,
Jeffery
