You probably need the BIOS update which includes a USB3 F/W update: viewtopic.php?f=65&t=75513
Could be a good idea to connect a HDMI display. After the NAS powers off disconnect the USB key and power on again.
Download the logs again and you should see a newer date in bios_ver.log
