ReadyNAS 4200 and 6/8 TB HDD
Hello!
Who tryed 6 or 8 TB HDD (for example WD Raid edition) with old ReadyNAS 4200?
Does it work's?
This is the 12-bay rackmount unit, right?
Is this the v1 or the v2?
The v1 is limited to 2TB disks in bays 5-12. The v2 does not have this limitation.
Only enterprise disks should be used in the 4200.
Also there are expansion limits to be aware of.

I know this isn't going to solve your problems but there is a model on eBay right now that's only going for $2199.99 with free shipping that's normally $3500
I've contemplated buying it but I don't know if I could justify the price. If you've got three to sell though you could probably easily sell yours to buy that one.
