ReadyNAS 424 screen error msgs and needs a reboot

Reads like a classic btrfs error. Time to run something like a btrfs check --repair
Yes, memory or similar hardware issues can cause these errors as StephenB coreclty says. Trouble with those actions is to have uncertain outcomes: A more reliable (but not very practical) alternative is to just recreate the btrfs filesystem, and restore a backup.

I suggest starting without the --repair. It is a risky option.
Downloading the full log zip and looking in there could uncover more clues on what is going on.

Although I do know how to download the extensive zipped logs, I'm no Linux expert, so I don't know what to look for within those logs...
Any tips/suggestions?

I'll take a look if you are ok with that.
Put the full zip into cloud storage (dropbox, google drive, etc), and get a link that is set so anyone with the linke can download.
Then send me that link via private message (PM) using the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page.
