ReadyNAS 628X Problems.
I started to encounter problems at the beginning of the week when advised that I had a degraded scenario. The problem was that in the main HD display I could not identify the 'yellow' drive (maybe bi...

Thanks for the response.
Well there is a large amount of positive update although I confess to being still in an 'incomplete' position>
I managed this morning to get access (briefly) to the Admin function from where I was able to ascertain that the 8 drives had been integrtaed and the RAID level moved to RAID 6 (BTW does 47TB out of 84TB sound about right for the space available?). Also, all the drives were healthy.
The only problem is that I have at least one pc where I cannot access the NAS notwithstanding that I can access other NAS's (including Netgear) so uncertain what I may not have setup on the pc correctly configured for the 628X
Thanks

8 drives, correct? What size(s) are they?

There's 6 x 10TB & 2 x 12TB

Latest update
I rebooted the device last night and the Admin screen came up ok but when I tried to access the Admin screen this morning, it's 'offline'
This aspect is really frustrating as the status in Admin does look ok.
I suspect that I may have to download the logs next time I reboot

You should be able to download the logs using RAIDar still.

With RAID-6, you can only use 10 TB of the two 12 TB drives - you need four of the largest size to use all the space. The volume size should be 60 TB (54.5 TiB) - not 47 TB.
So something is still wrong with the volume, hopefully mdgm-ntgr can help you figure it out when he gets the logs. It could be simply that it isn't done resyncing.

I rebooted the NAS as it was not visible on the Raidar app. I downloaded the logs to a zip and emailed them but the email bounced claiming another address was not found
Any thoughts?
Thanks
