I used the same disk in slot 6, everything was fine, and now, when loading, the device does not even boot if you insert the sixth disk

    Well, it's either

    1. the bay
    2. the disk
    3. (unlikely) a failing PSU that can't provide enough power for all disks.

After the current resync completes, you can try removing all 5 disks (labeling by slot, so you know where they go).

Then try doing a factory default with the problem disk in bay 1, and see if that works.  If it does, then try powering down the NAS, move that disk to bay 6 and try rebooting.

Or test the disk in a PC now, to simplify troubleshooting.

  • What firmware are you running?

Do you recall the original size of your volume (when first created)?

Thx.  Was the 6th disk already formatted?

If it was, you need to select it on the volumes page (center graphic), and then format it again using the control on the right of the page.
